I have lived in Colorado for 25 years—I started in the highest town—Leadville, Colorado. I traded ten-thousand feet for eight-thousand and moved to the mountains outside of Boulder. This is to say I know mountain living—the homes, the hurdles and benefits, as well as the commute to the “Front Range.” I’ve lived in Boulder, now, for almost ten years. I taught in the schools in Boulder Valley as a special education teacher and know the surrounding neighborhoods and communities really well.

I have helped buyers and sellers from Boulder to Denver and the mountains. I think my experience working with kids with special needs helps me to think outside the box and work through challenges that can arise during the buying or selling process. I’m proud to say, I’ve kept deals together when all of the other parties were sure it was dead. Communication with other agents and all the members of the “team” can’t be underestimated. I work closely with the Title Company as well as with lenders to make sure that the pending closing is successful.

Kris Walton was with us every step of the way as we purchased our first home in Boulder. She was always available to answer our many questions and address any concerns. Although our home purchase was done a bit unconventionally, Kris kept her wit and sense of humor along the way. We highly recommend her.!
